Abstract:In the complex geological conditions, the long-span arch bridge mostly adopts the non thrust tie bar structure, and the large-span arch bridge with thrust is rarely applied, and the related research is less. Pingnan third Bridge is a super long span and thrust concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge built under complex geological conditions. The thick overburden layer and deep bedrock buried in the north bank abutment foundation site become the key points in the design. This paper introduces the comparison and selection of arch foundation scheme on the north bank of Pingnan third Bridge, which provides reference for the design of long-span arch bridge with similar geological conditions.
