Starting from Issue 1 of 2025, Journal of China & Foreign Highway has transitioned to an open access journal. All subsequent articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Upon publication, articles will be immediately made public and permanently available for free on the official website (https://zwgl.csust.edu.cn/zwgl/home), allowing users to read, download, cite, copy, print, search, or link to the full text of articles, or use them for other legitimate purposes.
All articles from Issue 1 of 2019 onwards are converted to open access works, adopted under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, and can be accessed for free on the journal's website. Articles published before 2019 are not open access papers; the copyright belongs to the editorial office, which reserves all rights.
Users' Rights
All users' use of the journal's open access articles should be premised on the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. This license allows users to copy and distribute the articles, provided that: 1. The use is limited to non-commercial purposes. Furthermore, no modifications of any kind may be made to the work, nor may modified versions be distributed or disseminated; 2. Users must provide a link to the license, but cannot in any way suggest that the licensor endorses the user or the use of the work; 3. The distribution of any derivative products is not permitted. This includes rearranging the article, changing the publication format, or building new constructions upon existing research material. For details, please visit:
After manuscript acceptance, authors need to sign a "Copyright Transfer Agreement" with the editorial office. Once a paper submitted to the journal is accepted for publication, the authors transfer all copyrights of the entire paper, as well as the figures, tables, abstracts, or other parts that can be extracted from the paper, to the editorial office of Journal of China & Foreign Highway—including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, performance, translation, compilation, adaptation, etc. The editorial office owns the copyright. Authors and third parties have the right to share their articles under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 Creative Commons license, and can cite or translate part of the paper in their subsequent works, or compile it in their non-journal collections.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
To support open access publishing, Journal of China & Foreign Highway charges an Article Processing Charge (APC), which needs to be paid by the author, their institution, funding project, etc. The APC standard is RMB 2000/8 pages (including mailing costs), with an additional charge of RMB 200/page for pages exceeding 8, and the maximum charge is RMB 4000 per article. The manuscript review fee is RMB 200 per article.
